You Can't Eat Here!

Hotel Security and Miscellaneous Police ran out to tell us we could not pass out our lunch right there at the hotel entrance.  While some ADAPT argued with the officials, the rest of us passed out the food and ate lunch.

Can you believe it?

These guys really believe that we are done for the day.  They have no idea what's coming up next!

Governor's Bus

ADAPT surrounded the bus that was taking the Governor's and their families to the city Zoo.  We think they should think about our message instead.

Clear Message

ADAPT demands a promised meeting with NGA Chairman to urge the support of MiCASSA.

Perspective

The Governor's and Family members looked out at the people and their signs and realize that the bus not going to take them to the zoo today.

Barricades

The barricades that the police used to keep us away from the bus helped us to keep the bus trapped all afternoon.

Frustration

Do you think it would have been easier just to meet with ADAPT rather than fight with them about this?

Late Afternoon

The bus ride is cancelled late in the afternoon and the bus was backed into a nearby alley.  ADAPT accomplished their mission of being heard by the Governor's.  There will be an ADAPT Meeting at 7 to go over the events of the day.

Sharing Stories

Kyle Glozier recalls with the crowd the events of the day.  Everyone had a story to tell.  We were right up close and personal with everyone at the National Governor's Association.  They all knew we were here.

Roland Sykes tells what he knows

Atta Boy!

Roland had some observations that the rest of us had missed.  He later wrote the "official history" of this event for us.

Next time

We agreed that we need to continue sending our message to the Governor's.  The have got to tell the legislature that MiCASSA is what is needed to give people a choice of freedom.
