We need permanent housing.
Institutionalization is not a housing solution.

In the area of AFFORDABLE HOUSING,we agreed to fight for:

Recapture Fair Share Vouchers

Target Lowest Income Levels

In the area of ACCESSIBLE HOUSING, we agreed to fight for:

Increase the 5 % (for physical access) and 2% (for sensory access) to 10% and 5% in housing covered by 504

National Visitability Legislation ...the Inclusive Home Design Act

Increase Enforcement of 504 and the Fair Housing Amendments Act

In the area of INTEGRATED HOUSING, we agreed to fight for:

"Access to Integration" the Re-direction of 811 program funds using the 50/50 formula. Revise 811 rules to promote development of integrated housing, eliminating current disincentives.
Phase out of "silo housing" - housing developed for specific disabilities or age groups, in other words segregated housing.
